This movie was kinda messed up. Great performances by Paul Rudd and Rachel Weisz who have recouped their Broadway debut of this play, Neil LaBute writes some really messed up people, yo!

Sharp and Well-Written

I can see why many people are disgusted by this movie, especially when they are not familiar with the work of Neil LaBute. Along with "In the Company of Men," this film is a dark comedy at its core despite the cruelty of the characters that inhabit in its world. It is hard for me to not admire this picture because it is character-driven where dialogue makes up most of the film and its climax is bold and shocking. The transformation of Paul Rudd from a geeky museum worker to a stunning potential ladies man is a revelation. But the person that made this movie is Rachel Weisz. The audiences got to know her most because her character is opinionated and unconventional. It is well-paced and the confrontations between characters never get old; each argument feels like a piece of the puzzle for …
