Sponge Bob sets out to retrieve the stolen crown of King Neptune. The Jokes in this movie works so well that I can say that I laughed a lot. The animation is colorful to look at and the final boss at the end was epic.

Apart from a couple of semi-famous voices and a random live-action cameo, there isn't much here to elevate the material to feature film status. It's a decent buddy/road flick, but I would've liked to see a story that involved all of the characters from the show. The jokes pander too much in favor of very small children. It looses much of the humor that made the show stand out from the rest.
