Plot: When the Story of O was published in 1954 - the S&M fantasy was a scandalous bestseller that many assumed was autobiographical on the part of the author, writing under a pseudonym. It wasn't until 1994 that Dominique Aury, a quite staid and mild-mannered editor, revealed she was the author.
