Ichabod Crane - wrote on 02/12/2011
A more effective than expected old fashioned drama of a man who wants to recapture his lost love, which he gave up for money. The story is not great overall but it is made effective through strong performances from Walter Brennan in his first Oscar winning performance, and from Edward Arnold who gives a surprisingly effective and honest performance.
