Some Like It Hot and Victor/Victoria revisited, sort of. Two "cheesy" dinner theater singers witness a killing and run for their lives. They end up in West Hollywood where they soon take up performing again...as female impersonators. They're convincing as women because they really are women. Lots of stereotypes. Boffo socko musical numbers. Great make-up and costumes. I winced through a lot of this movie, but something like the Stockholm Syndrome came over me and I wound up enjoying it as a feel-good experience.
