Plot: The classic tale penned by Robert Louis Stevenson comes to life: the good Dr. Henry Jekyll believes that mankind has two distinct sides: the good and evil - and only by separating the two can man liberate himself. The standard Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story no surprises, but a good adaptation. With interesting direction and great performances from Fredric March great as both sides of men and Miriam Hopkins as the women he tortures when he is Hyde. Well done film of the story and the best I have seen.
