I found that the anime worked better in music video form, when stretched to a full movie it just wasn't interesting enough to keep my attention.

You might not like anime (wich I do) and you may not fancy Daft Punk (witch I don't) but you just can't pass on the amazing combination of that music and visuals is simply stunning. Yes, it is sort of hour long extended video, but boy is it good.
