This late addition to Disney's canon of Jules Verne inspired adventure films is a rollicking fun experience with dazzling visuals and plenty of action and spectacle for families to enjoy. The story begins with an English gentleman hiring a French aviator and an American explorer to search for his missing son in the Arctic. They succeed (it IS a Disney movie) but also discover a lost colony of Vikings in the process too! In the spirit of Disney classics like Swiss Family Robinson and 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, The Island at the Top of the World is a wonderfully good time.
