The nature of relationships has hardly been this dark or disturbing. There is no love, only madness. No friendship, only men seeking to bury the past whatever the cost. The impact is like a psychological sledgehammer.

Das verruchte Image von Rampling, ich denke, es haftet ihr an seit ihrem Auftritt in The Night Porter. - Ein hässlicher, da schmieriger Versuch, uns Leid und Verfolgung als Exploitation unterzujubeln. Nazi Chic. Es gibt eine ganze Reihe von Kunden, die die DVD stolz leihen, um zu beweisen, dass sie hier keinen Müll in den Händen halten, sondern etwas "Bedeutungsschwangeres". In einigen Kreisen gilt das als "kulturell offen".
