Plot: A woman and her young niece find themselves stranded at the Rawhide desert stagecoach stop where Sam and his assistant, Tom run things. When four bandits take over the station, intent on robbing an incoming gold shipment, they murder Sam but need to keep Tom for the deception to work. In this tense western drama, Tyrone Power and Susan Hayward try to survive a hostage situation using their wits and each other. Hugh Marlowe and Jack Elam play an especially nasty pair of outlaws.
