The Royal Family of Broadway is unfortunately a film that is too confused about itself, to be interesting. It tries to be a screwball comedy, which it is actually okay at, with the single character by Fredric March being enjoyable, but everyone else quite serious in an incredible boring story about weighing family, and love. The screwball is fun, but the rest is not, and unfortunately the rest is most of it.
