Gruesome makeup effects and a few gross-out death scenes are the highlight of this eco-horror tale. The worms weirdly enough are the subplot to this uninteresting love triangle.

Supposedly based on an actual event, this movie will have you writhing in your seat as a horde of worms take over a small town after an electrical storm urges them out from underground. Extremely scary.
