Not nearly as smooth or imaginative as what would come later down the road for the wacky claymation duo, but pleasing charm, adorable animation, and snappy wit make this a grand outing indeed.

Stop motivation animation never seems to stop impressing me, as this 23 minute film is Wallace and Gromit at they best. A Grand Day Out has the best mix of comedy, imagination, and a sense of adventure that made this animated movie truly special.

Who doesn't love Wallace and Gromit? The charming claymation conveys life and personality in a variety of inventive and visual-humor-heavy scenarios. The penguin one is the best of these three.
