This movie shows how a friendship between Huck and a slave named Jim develops. This movie is funny but serious at the same time. My favorite character is Huck. He is very smart, and cute. He lives with Mrs. Watson and her sister, "The Widow Douglas". They both take care of him, but he doesn't like it. He experiences a lot of things when he runs away forn "The Widow Douglas." I really recomend this movie and also the book, because this is not a boring history that you may be reading or have read.

I think this movie makes you think of what it was like back then, because of slaves and the bad things that happend. This movie teaches you about the difference and shows you how the color of one's skin doesn't matter, you can still have a good frienship. I like the color movie better then the black and white, because I enjoyed the realism that color can offer.

I think you should watch the movie. It changed my life. As you start watching the movie you're going to see that two women own a slave caled Jim . There is a boy called Huck who likes to talk to Jim. The young boy likes to have adventures on the river. As you watch it you will realize that there is a lot of racism. As Jim and Huck have adventures on the river Huck doesn't treat Jim as a slave. Huck starts to get closer to Jim. In this movie they concentrate on the friendship between Jim and Huck. There is a lot of anger too, because the townspeople hate Jim and accuse him of murdering Huck. I liked this movie because it has a lot of funny parts. For example, it is hilarious when Jim dresses up like an African.

This kind of movie is not really my favorite, but I really enjoyed watching this one better than the black and white version. It shows how hard the life of a slave named Jim was. But also it shows how a friendship between two persons from two different worlds can be created. I mention this because Jim, the slave, and Huck, an orphan kid, who didn't have anything in common, left home looking for a better life; Jim wanted to go to the free states to go and find his family and Huck just wanted to do whatever, but on the way to the free states they get to know each other really well. So much that they started to care about each other as if they were father and son. I really recomend this movie to be watched by everybody because it has a good advice for all people about friendship
