I am seeing a Best Actor Nomination already in the future for Jamal Woolard. It might be a little to earlie to predict that, but I don't care. I throw out the rule book just like Woolard throws himself into the heart and soul of Christopher Wallace. I don't believe there is no other person on the face of this earth that could have done a better job than Jamal Woolard as Biggie and George Tillman Jr. as the director. So far, this film sets the bar for bio pics in 2009. This is an outstanding movie with an outstanding cast.

Jamal Woolard was perfect as Christopher Wallace, and he did a tremendous job. The script got right to the heart of the matter, however portrayed Puff Daddy like he was some innocent hero. The music was good, but not distracting to the overall movie. I had a minor interest since I live in L.A. where Biggie was shot. Thankfully the movie was captivating.

Not bad, not bad at all. Even though the actors didn't feel like their potrayers, They still pulled it off. They did a nice job!

Good Work

I do agree that the actors were kind of their own characters instead of the people who they were portraying (but this could be that they are still very much in our faces so we knew it was REALLY them.) I think the story had some gaps. I feel like the Faith-Biggie relationship could have been explored a little bit more. I feel like the Faith-Lil' Kim feud could have been explored a little more. I also wish that his work with some other artists would have been brought out a little bit more. I understand that this was the Christopher Wallace story so you don't really want to get too much into other characters, but those …
