Action: 1.5/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 1/1 + Love/Sex: 0.5/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 1/1 + Music: 1/1 = 6/10 or 60%. The initial introduction to L.A.R.P.ing is utterly fascinating. Individuals dressing as trolls, zombies, monster bosses, vampires, human/cat hybrids etc. is a wonder to behold. Even the dorky and socially inept misfits that it follows behind the scenes are fascinating to a point. Rather than show us a full fledged battle or event tournament though, the film instead focuses on the private lives of the players. This is all fine and good, but they're not nearly as fascinating as the personas they pretend to be.
