The acting in the movie has to be one of the worst. The CG looks fake and the 3D doesn't work at all in this movie.

Not that familiar with the other films in this franchise, but this 4th edition is nowhere near as fun or exciting as Final Destination 2; I can assume the same came be said with FD1. Poor acting, weak effects, and less gore hold this film back. There's definitely some fun to be had thanks to a likable concept, but the deaths/accidents weren't that interesting. Not a horrible film, but not good either.

The series has really stretched itself thin this time - I mean, it was almost cartoonish, it was like watching Looney Tunes with lots of blood. The try to incorporate the previous story into this one, but it's a losing effort. It's just silly - not at all scary anymore.

I would have to agree with what the other reviewer has said, this one is probably the worst ever in every category possible. I was really optimistic seeing this hopefully last installment of a dying franchise which is ironically about death. I'm quite dumbfounded by the fact that they're way over their heads(the writers) making it about a race car track accident (oops spoiler alert) which is really not the best place to die. I mean they could have chosen a much better place say a train crash or something that would really tingle the backs of our spine. And I would even begin with the special effects, it's like the worst one could see at this age and time. Almost like looking into a really bad low budget flick of the early 90's. They even had a Forrest Gump effect which is a little bit …
