An infectiously sweet charmer, "Annie" is a good old days musical complete with whimsical songs, energetic dance numbers, and wacky characters.

This reviewer has seen this as a child. Wonderful touching performances make this one of the more entertaining family musicals. It makes you think, "it's one of the films that they don't make anymore." Worth viewing even for those doubters of the genre.

Cute musical featuring plenty of memorable songs and a fine cast, led by Carol Burnett, Albert Finney, Tim Curry and, of course Annie herself Aileen Quinn. There are better musicals out there, but for families and music class, this may be at the top of the list.
