Plot: A young woman is trapped in a loveless relationship with a petty criminal while fighting off advances from his dense partner. After a reading by a mystic friend of sorts, she thinks she has found her one true love in the form of a young lawyer and the two begin a torrid affair. When her husband finally gets wind of it - he beats her nearly to death, before his partner steps in and ends his life. Now he wants her for himself. -- Chris Kavan
