Ex-special operative MacGruber (Will Forte) is called back into action to find and defeat his nemesis, Dieter Von Cunth when Cunth hijacks a nuclear warhead. MacGruber gets in touch with his sidekick Vicki (Kristen Wiig) and Lt. Piper (Ryan Phillippe), and sets out to stop Von Cunth from getting the pass codes needed to launch the warhead. Val Kilmer isn't particularly funny, unless you get a giggle from realizing that his last name is Cunth. Yes, his last name is Cunth and you hear it often enough in the movie. It’s tasteless, crude, rude, infantile, filled with moronic humor…yet I found myself laughing nonstop…

Is this a good movie? No, probably not, but for about 90 minutes, I have to admit I laughed a lot. Whether it was MacGruber's one liners or everyone's reactions to MacGruber's stupidity, All the actors realize exactly what kind of movie they are making and ham it up appropriately. It can be pretty crass, vulgar and silly at times, but just sit back, turn your mind off, and enjoy.

MacGruber review

Just because a movie is a flop doesn't mean it stinks. Numbers don't really make a film good. An underrated comedy which is lewd, violent, stupid and yet highly enjoyable. MacGruber (Will Forte) was asked by Col. Jim Faith (Powers Boothe) and Lt. Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe) to stop Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer) from taking control of a missile with a nuclear warhead. One of MacGruber's recruits, Vicki St. Elmo (Kristen Wiig), will aid him in the mission. When viewing this without knowledge one might think it is a bad film since the lead is ridiculously weird, a MacGyver ripoff, had bad clothing and had cheesy 80's music played on a tape deck. It's all part of the plan to make an unlikely hero so loveable. The humor was really good and plot was interesting enough to stick with. …

ok again with the apologies...I did find a worse looking movie than MacGruber!! Get Him To The Greek starring fat bloated and annoying and co-starring metro needs to get a new role crappy actor and I am sure a cast of duds. I think I may rent MacGruber when it comes out because I will avoid Greek at ALL costs!! Ouch I thought MacGruber looked bad!! So apologies about everything I said about MacGruber being the worst movie ever...Greek wins by a landslide!!!!!!!!!!
