A cheezy but pretty solid horror movie. The killer is some kind of abused retard who dressed as Santa to commit murders. He escapes prison and goes about on a rampage committing ridiculous crimes like using skin for cookie cut-outs. Overall it is a solid horror movie.

A poor remake of the seventies classic. Nothing memorable about it and takes away everything that made the original so creepy.

Should satisfy gorehounds, but there isn't really anything else redeeming about this film other than a few funny moments. Suffers mostly from semi-poor screenplay and execution. The inclusion of a backstory to explain the the villain from the original Black Christmas was not very good and felt cheap. The rest of the film suffers from lack of creativity in being "scary". The writer/director actually tells us, on the dvd, of his first draft of the script he wrote himself that just sounds better than the one used for this movie. It seems when you hire extra guys to make re-writes it doesn't always make the movie better.

Yeah I know Christmas is over judging by the date of this review, but let's end the jolly good season with this peace of shit that Santa left under the Christmas Tree.

The story is about a young boy, was abused by his mother as a child. His mother cheated on Billy's father, and eventually killed the man, while keeping Billy in the attic--for good, while she was with her lover and starting a "new" family. As Billy's mother fell pregnant with a daughter and treated her with the love he had never experienced, Billy came out of the attic after years and brutally murdered his mother and her lover. Cut to present day, a group of six sorority sisters consisting of Kelli, Dana, Lauren, Megan, Heather, Melissa and their house mother, who now live in Billy's childhood home, find themselves …

Black Christmas is a stupid and highly cliqued waste of 90+ minutes. The entire film is a big mess. Lazy Direction and a Horrible script are the main problem here. but The film also suffers from possibly the dumbest and least scariest serial killer in movie history, at least recent movie history. There are plenty of talented up and coming actresses (Lacey Chabert, Michelle Trachtenberg, Katie Cassidy) in this film, but all they are reduced to is spouting off nothing but four letter words for most of the entire movie, a complete waste of talent. The film is neither scary or funny, or even decent, it's quite dreadful and over long by at least a scene or two. This is not only one of 2006's worst movies, but this is possibly the worst "horror" movie remake ever made. We've seen this type of …
