"The Broadway Melody" was game changing back in the early days of musicals, but it's kind of stale by today's standards.

This was a very pleasant surprise! Only two years removed from the first talking movie, this one dances, laughs, talks, and does it all pretty good. I was entertained and could follow the story. A little dated, but worth a look.
