I doubt very many people were begging for it, but there's no doubt that "Europe's Most Wanted" is the best installment in the franchise.

This series keeps improving with each new entry. Here, the quota is madcap fun to the max. I laughed myself silly all the way through. Throw in some likable new characters, and an ending that wraps up the animal's journey, and you have a fitting end to the trilogy. It's the fastest, funniest and most enjoyable 'Madagascar'.

Another Dreamworks Dud

A common trend in Dreamworks films, is that they have an incredible beginning, and fall to pieces within half an hour. Unfortunately, the same can be said for Madagascar 3, which runs out of steam quite shortly.

Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melvin attempt to make their way from Africa to New York. But first, the gang have to pick up the penguins at Monte Carlo so they can all fly home. Unfortunately for them, their ride is totaled and they are being pursued by a French animal hunter named Chantal DeBois. In order to get away, the gang joins the circus where they must actively train and keep their eye out for DeBois.

From the point where Alex and Co. get to the penguins (within 5 minutes of the film's opening) to the point where they join the circus is marvelously zany and energetic …

Fire in belly animation film

Directed by Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath and Conrad vernon.
Main Voice overs: Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jessica Chastain

DreamWorks dreams big in this film. The direction is not single handed, but triple. The writing does not fade, but quite  impresses. The jinx of third film getting clunkier is broken. The best thing is all of this feat gives necessary fun to every generation of audience. Madagascar 3 sets up from where it was left. The last scene of the 2nd film showing monkeys and penguins, going off in a mechanical jet setter is the beginning of the 3rd film. Looks like Darnell wanted to remind audience of the six year gap. Then a disturbing dream, a hope and chase fun with the evil most cop, who is on the trail to catch Alex the Lion voiced by Ben Stiller is evident that, …

Review: Madagascar 3

Unlike some people, notably critics, I think the Madagascar series is very good. I thought the first film was terrific; original, clever, and fun. Madagascar 2, while not being as good as the first, still had the charms and the laughs that made the first film so good. Fortunately, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a very fun movie. It's a good installment into the series, which remains lively and enjoyable. This third chapter may even be better than the first.

I'll begin by saying that the movie looks amazing. The shots are nice and well-framed. The animation is lively and colorful. This is the best looking film of the series. I didn't see the movie in 3D, which I regret because apparently the 3D is very well done, but even in 2D the colorful animation and energetic storytelling …
