All and all it was decent, the acting was so-so and the sound track was good. This movie lacked in story plain and simple. Everything was obvious from the beginning, and the dialog was okay at best. The positive points were definitely the action and special effects.

Perhaps I was in a good mood when I watched this film. I don't hate it like most critics do because it tried to be a good movie. I mean, the atmosphere of the film has this nice gothic feel to it and I liked that. Although the ending is kind of weird and basically begs for a sequel, there are some nice touches in this film. For instance, the creepy crawly spiders are... well, creepy. And the shower scene with one of the leading ladies was kind of thrilling. Universally, this is a love it or hate it film. But I'm …
