A tragic teen aged drama that reaches the heights of a modern Shakespeare parable. Wasted on the Young is enthralling and mesmerizing. Strikingly shot and filled with dazzling visuals that never overwhelm the story at hand. Great performances all around, thought provoking, infuriating, and shocking. This is a very tense film that could have taken the whole 'gossip and bullying ends in disaster' story and turned it into another melodramatic lifetime movie. Instead, it becomes an entrancing, disturbing, and transcendent experience. Absolutely unforgettable.
