What I appreciate the most in this film is the way they discuss ethical dilemmas in different levels. A movie not everyone would remember after a year, but it has something substantial to offer for its audience. Well-portrayed characters, beautiful story, and the direction perfectly fits!

A decent dark comedy where the smallest detail plays havoc with so many lives - it's nice to see Maguire do something other than Spider-Man and Haysbert in someting than an insurance commercial. Throw in a crazy Laura Linney and it's a wrap. For a change of pace, it does the trick.

A story about different flawed individuals with various consequences. Jeff (Tobey Maguire) is having issues on his garden since there were holes created by critters from their area. Nealy (Elizabeth Banks) seems to be unhappy with her husband's behavior. Peter Mazzoni (Ray Liotta) is a friend of Jeff that offers sound advice after conflicts erupt.
One of the best dark comedies on infidelities, making favors, dishonesty, opening-up to a friend and honesty. The screenplay was impressive with lines: "And life just went on..." by Jeff "It will workout, things always do." Lila "I make mistakes. But I make amends" - Peter. The pace in certain scenes felt prolonged such as the sex sequences and some characters a bit overwhelming. Soundtrack was apt and direction precise in certain …
