I liked the two lead's performances. Watching their relationship unfold was a change of pace from most dramas of this type. I managed to obtain some of what they were feeling for each other. Everything else in the film didn't work. The horror element felt like a needless afterthought, It never meshed with the rest of the film and there was never any sense of direction.

Reminded me a bit of Ginger Snaps - a kind of coming-of-age story with a werewolf metaphor thrown in for all those strange feeling and changes your body goes through during this roller-coaster ride known as being a teenager. Really like Juno Temple and Riley Keough in their roles - a different take with some strange interludes (thanks to the demented minds known as the Brother Quay - whose animation will give you nightmares) - a bit shallow, and kind made me feel kind of dirty, but for the performances alone a nice watch.
