Barrio Tales is to Latinos what Tales from the Hood is to African Americans - that is, perpetuating stereotypes and utterly laughable horror. Our three tales concern a live-in maid, a taco truck driver and the "Coyote Brothers" - now, tell me, is that not the worst way to pigeonhole an entire ethnic race? If the horror was passable, I might overlook the blatant racism inherent in this mess, but, sadly, it's not scary in the least. I pretty much knew this was going to be terrible going in, but it was pretty close to being unwatchable in the end. Ah, Netfilx, you never disappoint me in presenting me with such well-rounded bad horror films.
