Plot: April is a saint - and a virgin - trying to understand her feelings toward a soccer coach and the class stoner, Teddy. Emily is the polar opposite - a wild girl who has no qualms sleeping with the boys in her class- Teddy and his friend, Fred included. 'Palo Alto' shows a group of teens going through the day-to-day growing pains, touching on some often seen woes. Good young actors uphold mediocre drama. It has a nice realistic feel. The aimless plot, coupled with a snail's pace, makes for a less involving watch. Would've been better with more interesting characters. Lacking the story and emotion that I like in my teen dramas.
