Plot: Sometime in the near future, water has become mankind's most precious resource - dictating everything from global politics to family relationships. As dust settles on a withered Earth, those who survive make a hard living to continue. The design and effects create a unique vision of a future earth. Easy world-building is established through visuals. It feels like a lived-in future of the past. A great cast elevates what is essentially an old western style tale of betrayal, deceit, and revenge. Unlike the visuals, the narrative doesn't bring much new to the formula.
