Romance movies can be overly comical, or they can be something special. This special type of movie was already created through the release of Brooklyn in 2015. Think of Indignation as a slightly edgier version of Brooklyn. Don't get me wrong, they are not the same; Indignation has its own unique touch to special cinematic brilliance.
We are introduced to a Jewish college freshman, Marcus, whose parents are overly concerned and troubled by his long distance relationship. Sounds familiar, I know, many people experience this in life, both university students and their parents alike. A slightly older girl goes out on a date with Marcus and does some interesting stuff with him afterward. Marcus is absolutely shocked, but flattered.
