There's plenty of Sacha Baron Cohen's signature offensive humor, but not enough of the charm or satire from his previous comedies to makes it acceptable.

'The Brother's Grimsby' sees the comedic teaming of Cohen and Strong; two actors who I've always enjoyed. Here we get a gross-out buddy action comedy with a ridiculous story and characters. That sounds like a concoction of fun, right? NO. I did not enjoy any of this schlock. First off, the humor misses at almost every turn. I have no problem with dumb, gross, juvenile gags. To prove this point, the immeasurably stupid and crass 'MacGruber' was one of my favorite movies in it's release year. The problem with the jokes in 'Brothers Grimsby' is that they lack a proper setup within the story and become so unbelievable that I lost any sense of fun. They aren't very creative and their execution is sloppy. The other big negative here is the mismatched duo factor. You have two close …

The Brothers Grimsby is about a MI-5's top spy and has just stumbled upon a threat that could endanger the entire world. Nobby is a hooligan in Grimsby - thickheaded and rough - and the estranged younger brother to Sebastian. Nobby has the great idea to finally reunite - not knowing this unexpected family reunion could very well decide the fate of the entire world.
So I've seen Grimsby about a week ago now (it takes me long to gather my thoughts), and I thought it was alright. If you like offensive humor, gross out scenes and absurd content, then this movie is likely for you. Sacha Baron Cohen dose he's usual thing of playing different characters and that's always enjoyable to watch, and he dose it again in this movie. There were a lot of parts in this movie that I did …
