Gridiron Gang is an unsuccessful mix between The Little Giants and The Longest Yard. Here is a true story that is worth putting on the big screen, but it's not done right. It is inspiration and funny, but it suffers from a slow ending and the fact that it seems a little drawn out. Dwayne "The Rock" Jonhson is very good in this, he knows how to play his characters real, very convincing, and funny. Xzibit works well, with what little screen time he has. I was also very impressed with Jade Yorker as Willie, he gave a good performance. Brandon Smith as Bug, provides some good comedy. This true story has the potential to be a great sports movie, if only it weren't weighed down by cliques.
