I fell in love with this movie. Interesting story of the truly brave during a time war and cholera. Oliver Martinez gives a great performance as does the always beautiful Juliette Binoche.Subtitled-

Not J.P. Rappeneau's best. Juliette Binoche is decent. The Aix-en-Provence area is enchanting despite the plague and Gerard Depardieu's short but sweet role is all too welcome.

Juliette Binoche is usually good, but this Aix-thriller just didn't cut it. Unfortunately everyone didn't die of malaria, killing off everyone in the first 20 minutes. Coincidentally, JP Rappeneau director of this, directed my favorite French film Bon Voyage.
