The story is about a man sets out to save his kidnapped wife and avenge his child's murder to save her from the evil animal warriors who leader happens to be Gallian. Fantasy. This movie is dreadful and dull with no heart or soul.

A truly awful fantasy movie in every sense possible. If you are a fantasy fan like me, you will want to vomit about two scenes into this movie. The worst, and most laughable of all, is a horribly miscast Ray Liotta as a "gangster" sorcerer. The movie also features horrific direction by Uwe Boll, confusingly dull action scenes, awful special effects and a mumbling, incoherent hero in Jason Stratham.

When tree elf people show up in green jogging pants and every plastic sword on screen simply starts bending in the wind you know you're in for a bad movie. Then, Burt Reynolds shows up as a king and Ray Liotta stands in some kind of mystical tornado while constantly laughing. There's also goblins and trolls, but their mouths don't move because of the large plastic masks they're all wearing.

If you don't already think that Uwe Boll is the greatest director of video-game to movie transfers, this tepid mess of a fantasy epic is not likely to change your mind. I have never played any of the video games he bases his films on, nor am I ever going to, because after this debacle it's still hard to find any enjoyment from gravity-defying stunts, aweless magic and characters with an emotional level as deep as a bottlecap. I'm ripping on both the video games and this film.

I haven't seen a worse film, ironically, since Boll's own House of the Dead back in 2003. The worst film in between then and now is another Boll masterpiece, Alone in the Dark; it's ironic that Boll's Bloodrayne (which got some of the harshest reviews ever) is, in my opinion, his best movie, though a 'C minus' …

Hey, did you hear? Uwe Boll has a brand new movie out called “In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale.” Judging by those two facts alone, you can be sure this will be an awful week for movies.

The plot simmers aroud a farmer, Farmer (Jason Statham) who loses his son to an evil sorcerer, Gallian (Ray Liotta), and he sets off to avenge the boy’s death and bring peace to the land. Meanwhile, King Konreid (Burt Reynolds) is being plotted against by his nephew Duke Fallow (Matthew Lillard), who hopes to be king when Konreid dies. Original enough for you?

Boll has made some really bad movies in his time, but this one brings a new low to his career. There’s not one point during the movie where you know what’s going on, and even if you think you do, something happens to …
