This reviewer recalls this to be funny and refreshing. The effects during that time was effective. Jerry O'Connell was believable when communicating with the roaches. It's premise was innovative and humor spot-on. Not much interesting background characters though. Joe's Apartment is an entertaining comical fantasy flick that makes you wish you had this critters as your friends because of their intent.

A fantastic comedy with great musical numbers all preformed by cockroaches. Strange, but great.
