It's an obvious fact that this film comes from the same writer/director of 'Metropolitan'. Both are strikingly similar in tone and dialogue. Again, there is a plethora of sharp satirical wit to be found in the many conversations. Also, again, is the dry and uninvolved nature I felt while watching. Though, I enjoyed 'Last Days of Disco' a bit more because of the main actresses. They bring more emotion out of the material.
