A tale of passion, sex, abuse, and deceit, "Bad Education" is a film of beauty that finds Almodóvar at his melodramatic best.

A morose and surly drama that is too self-involved to be engaging. I just couldn't get into it at all, subject matter aside.

Pedro worked on this fascinating script for ten years and it shows. Carefully crafted, this is one of the most brilliant movies ever. Some dislike it because of the subject matter.
