Ensemble comedy-drama regarding a group of young college kids against the backdrop of the New York debutante scene. The movie is heavy on dialogue but it’s well written dialogue that’s often funny. The cast is comprised of newly minted actors that feel like real people.

Essentially, the entire film is an exchange of sharply witted dialogue. It's well written in that regard. The characters exist as dry send-ups of upper class socializing brats. On that point the film succeeds. However, there's not much outside of the intellectual conversations that is worth much entertaining merit.
