Film Craver's Information
Ranking Status: Movie Star
Name: film craver
Gender: Male
Current Area: Camano Island, WA
Education: I am highly self educated. In reality, I am a college drop-out. Boo! Yet, I have a "genius" IQ. My mind absorbs information and retains it fairly well. The catch is: I can only learn things that are interesting to me. If I am bored, I am likely not even going to try to learn it. I and others like me are labeled as "average" or students by the school systems, and I think that is unfortunate. Thank GOD for the Internet.
Employer: Self
Position: Owner - I absolutely love my job! I own a web design company. Do what you love in life, that's my advice to you. You were made for a reason! So do it. I get the same amount of satisfaction designing websites that I would if I had played video games for 8 hours a day!
About Me: I am in my early 30s and I am blessed to own my own business. My wife and I have been boycotting cable since 2000, and so when it comes time to decompress and relax, we enjoy watching movies. (And TV shows on DVD, like 24, and Lost!)
Interests: I love God! I am heavily involved with my local Church. I'm not gonna lie, my life has gotten better and better ever since I decided to follow Jesus! But that's not to say that all I do is read my Bible! My life is full... I love my job!! But I also love hanging out w/ friends, camping, working out, going out to restaurants and of course watching movies. Oh, and I LOVE volleyball too. And I like to write.

All in all, a brilliant movie.
Quentin Tarantino wrote this movie which easily competes with his classics like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs from the same time period. With refreshing originality, intense drama, witty and hilarious dialog and A-List actors giving easily the best performances of their careers, (especially Slater and Walken), all thrown on top of a brilliant plot line, this movie has been one of my favorites since the mid-90s. Personal Note: I have changed my tastes a lot since my transformation into a Christian, and I'm certain that if I were to watch this movie now, I would find much of the film's content offensive (not by choice, but just as a matter of a renewed sensitivity to things like language and extreme violence). Nevertheless, the subject …

Yeah GI Joe The Movie was the bomb! Funny thing is, I remember seeing it in parts...every morning before school that week i was late cuz it ended right as school was starting!!! Good thing I only lived 5 minutes away eh?? MY fav quote from it was, "Hey, Law and Order's a team, man. He finds the bombs, I drive the car. We tried the other way, but it didn't work." -Law

I have removed Die Hard from the list.... In fact, I'm thinking I named this list wrong.. because some of these movies are still "good", just not as good as they were when they first came out... Perhaps a better list title would be "Good then, Cheesy now"

I was expecting to see lots of 50's movies on this list or something. Was Red Dawn ever any good though? for comedy value maybe. I suppose the 80's were cheesy. I agree Die Hard has not dated at all though.
