I was going to mention Irreversible - another movie that is pretty tough to get through. Next to Last House, probably one of the more brutal movies I've seen (though you're asking for trouble from anything by Gaspar Noé)

Woodstock Review comment
As someone who was a teenager in the 1960's and loved the music back then, I saw the movie "Woodstock" and thought that it was quite overrated. Also, they made it seem like there was a very gentle atmosphere at that concert when there really wasn't; there was quite a bit of violence, lots of bad trips and a number of overdoses, which they deliberately cut out when they made Woodstock into a movie.
