This kind of thrillers/adventures I have a thing for. Yeah, the plot is kind of lame, and the acting is not that good, but I don't remember a hiking story being told like this before. The interaction between groups of characters was good.

Honestly, I think the best part of this entire movie was when one of the rescue climbers exploded from the unstable liquid. I took it frame by frame on DVD (yea...pretty sick of me)....it was a pretty near flawless transition from actor to chunks.
