Well, where to start? The film itself isn't really that bad at all. It's just there isn't really anything memorable that stands out and you take away from the theatre.
So, I went with a big group of friends to see this one, and I really didn't mind the whole chick flick thing, because honestly I can go for a chick flick somedays. Anyway, I was really curious to see how Patrick Dempsey did on the big screen. I thought he gave a solid performance. There was some parts where the character was just really selfish and could have been viewed as a womanizer, but the character makes up for it later on down the line. But, Dempsey was solid, presented well, and charming. But, hell really when is he not?
Yeah I really don't have a lot to say on this one. Just a typical romantic comedy, but with nothing really memorable about it. I thought Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan were just okay together. I didn't feel a lot of spark there tho. It took me forever to realize that she was the same girl that was the love interest in Mission Impossible 3. So, if you want a pretty good chick flick go check it out. It's got a lot of one liners and good laughs, but other than that I can't remember anything except how bad Kevin McKidd's accent was! I was not expecting to hear that sound come out of his mouth after watching him on NBC's Journeyman!
