Fatal attraction without the bunny

A very good movie but perhaps a little over long. it makes fatal attraction seem like a comedy.
Ben afleck plays a husband who returns home to find his wife gone and what looks like a possible struggle.
he calls the cops and so begins the thriller, did he murder his wife or is it something else.
Theres twists and turns and constant movement the editing is really good and it never once gets slow.
while the premise of the story of a did he didnt he kill his wife what happened has been done countless times. its never been done better, its like a cross between the war of the roses without the comedy and fatal attraction without the bunny. its one of those films that will stay with you after its over.
The only downflaw was the ending seemed a llittle to long and dragged a bit to come to a close in those final ten minutes. but other than that its a intelligent smartly written and directed movie that never lets up the pace. normally in a movie of this style there is slow parts but every scene for the most part works and is delivered fast so your constantly watching for whats next.
its not my favourite movie of the year but i would rate it as very good. and im sure it will win some awards for best picture and actress when the oscars come around.
