Boring lumbering mood piece about two English girls that are lifelong friends (Elle Fanning, Alice Englert) who find their relationship challenged by the changing times of the 1960s. The two lead actresses are actually quite good and Alessandro Nivola makes a solid sleazy turn as Fanning's philandering father. But nothing really important happens that makes it memorable or interesting. It's one of those 'actors' movies that just exists.
