Tacky technicolor swashbuckler about the infamous pirate Blackbeard, who's played by Robert Newton in full-on 'mustache twirling' mode. The movie itself is kind of meh. There's a lot of backstabbing and shifting alliances but it's not as interesting as something you'd see in Pirates of the Caribbean or Black Sails.
