Stunning followup that reignites the 'Planet of the Apes' franchise while delivering the action and spectacle. It gives fans a new villain who is an excellent antagonist. But for once, there is a human character (played by Freya Allan) that is just as interesting as the ape conflict. The mo-cap CGI on the apes is outstanding. Surprised to see the plot allow for some moral ambiguity w/o going into spoiler territory. Even for an IP as old as this one, I am excited about the next movie.
