Underrated, Under Appreciated... see the D's Cut!

I cannot and will not speak for the original theatrical release of this film mainly because that's not the film that people should have seen. The studio cut Ridley Scott's film into ribbons took out some of the best parts in the entire film in a way that lowers the actual comprehension of the movie and still expected it to be a hit. If you have seen this film in theaters and you thought it was horrible, go do yourself the favor of going to Blockbuster or Netflix and getting the Director's Cut. I swear you will not be disappointed if you enjoy medieval films.
This movie is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is incredibly compelling to watch. I watched this film with such intent and hanging on every scene that I hadn't realized that three hours had gone by after I finished watching it. The action sequences are in a word, stunning. No one and I mean NO one does film like Ridley Scott. I'll admit I think Ridley Scott is one of the best directors of this decade. I really think very few people know how to do a movie like he does, but even if this wasn't true, the movie should have just blown everything else away.
Of course, Orlando Bloom doesn't really strike me as a great role in this film, but the uncredited Edward Norton in this movie steals the show. If someone else could act as well as he does through a metal mask, well, I'd give that person an oscar.
Don't take my word for it, go see this film for yourself. It WILL NOT disappoint, just get the director's cut. It will be worth three hours of your time.
