I am not fond of this silent masterpiece. Mme. Renee Maria Falconetti has always scared me to death. Her ugly face and shaved head. This actually scares me, despite the fact I love Joan of Arc so much and that people are usually moved by this film. I prefer other movies by Carl Th Dreyer (Ordet for example).
