A disturbing, effectively haunting little movie.

Robin Williams plays Gabriel Noone, a late night radio storyteller who has formed a telephone friendship with a sick boy named Peter, He written a book on the horiffic events of chid molestation, rape,and abuse he suffered. Soon Gabriel wonders if it's all a hoax,is the boy a hoax crafted by his susposed guardian Donna. Played by Toni Collette who is the complete opposite of her last role in Little Miss Sunshine. Donna strings Gabriel along with just enough reason to believe and hope Peter is real, but common sense tell Gabriel that it's all a setup and nothing he believes is real. Willams delivers a great restrained performance and Collette is amazing as Donna who is overly Protective of a Sick child or crazy in a way that will chill you to the bone. This is a great movie that more people should get to see.
